The pictures that I'm posting for the month of April are for the Picture Spring class taught by Tracey from Shutter Sisters - each day we get a prompt to take the picture for that day.
For my Picture Spring class, the prompt today was to put your camera on the ground and shoot what was there. I put mine on the lawn and after he stopped attacking it, the puppy went and lay down and I took the shot - without looking through the viewfinder, so this is pure luck!
This "A Year in Pictures" photo blog represents my commitment this year to working on my photography skills as well as to seeing the beauty in the everyday. By taking at least one photo a day for 365 days, I hope to see the things around me in a new light and to come away with a new appreciation for the gifts that surround me each and every moment.
